If you’re child has recently been diagnosed, or if you’ve been living with the challenges and triumphs of raising a child with special needs for a while now, this is the place to be!
At Well Balanced Life, I hope to help you in whatever challenges you are facing at the moment. Because let’s be honest…just because something works one day, doesn’t mean it will work the next! We need to be one step ahead at all times and that can be hard! Being proactive instead of reactive can help tremendously.
It is a constant struggle when we live day to day in chaos and frustration because we are overwhelmed, tired and just don’t have a plan to deal with whatever situation arises. I would be lying if I said we didn’t have those moments. No matter how much we love our children, WE.ARE.HUMAN. It’s okay to need a break once in a while. Actually, it’s extremely important to take a break once in while. The more calm, happy and restful we are, the better we can handle those unexpected (or expected) moments we dread. And when we see them accomplish even the smallest task, we have enough energy to have a little dance party in the kitchen, at school or in the aisle at the grocery store!
